Occasionally we have vacancies within the band for new members. Details of specific vacancies can be found on the home page.

As a group we aim to set high standards, giving playing opportunities to musicians who have typically obtained grade 6 ABRSM equivalent or higher.

If a vacancy exists, players are usually invited to join the band for a trial period. Such a candidate may then be invited to become a member of the band.

Membership of the band is by subscription but this can be paid in weekly instalments of £3. Subscriptions help to pay for our rehearsal venue and the general running costs of the band.
